Players who fail to produce proof of age are ineligible to play until proof is provided. Captains who use unregistered players will be removed as captain. Any team found using a player under 40 will have all games prior to this discovery counted as a 1-0 loss (if they won the game). If an opposing captain challenges the legitimacy of a player, the team captain will need to produce the copy of identification. This can be compared with copies held by the league if necessary. If identification cannot be produced, game can be played but will be forfeited if identification is not produced by the following week.

Team rosters are due by the second week of each season. Any players added during the season need to be approved by the league prior to competing. Other captains will be notified of added players. Every player is required to sign the league registration / waiver prior to the start of each season. Captains are responsible to ensure that this occurs.

Each half is 40 minutes with a 10-minute half time.

Games will be played with eleven players. A minimum number of seven players are necessary for an official game. Captains need to agree on status of each game prior to the tap. Teams must have 7 players to start, opposing team may field 11 players. Other league players are eligible to fill in for teams playing down, or with less than 7 players, with the consent of the opposing captain. These will be official games if the Captains agree prior to the start of the game. Captain fielding a full team may take the forfeit win w/o negotiation if the opposing team cannot field a team of 7 of its own registered players.

No slide tackles. When a player leaves his feet to tackle the ball an indirect restart should be given if in the opinion of the referee it has affected the play and taken away the advantage of the attacking player. The referee for this infraction may issue a caution. Anytime the player leaves his feet to tackle or play the ball from behind, a caution should be issued. In the event the offending player makes contact with the player possessing the ball prior to making contact with the ball the more serious foul should be assessed and the player will be cautioned or sent off at the referees discretion. The method of issuing cards should be tempered with the desire to keep the game safe and the flow of the game consistent, a "play on" situation may be used to then later as play slows a verbal warning or a card may be issued to the offending player. A slide tackle should be for the purpose of the West Bradford Adult league should be as follows. "When a player not in possession of the ball and in direct proximity to an opposing player leaves his feet to play the ball in direct confrontation and opposition to his opponent. The player playing the ball leaving his feet from the front view (the 180* in front of the opponent) is considered to be sliding. Any play leaving the feet attempting to play the ball from the rear view (the 180* behind the opponent) is a serious
violation of the rule. This should be dealt with using a yellow card or red card depending on the severity of the foul in the opinion of the referee. Any player leaving his feet to sweep the ball in order to save it from going into touch or to control or advance the ball, is not a slide unless the above conditions apply.

A player receiving a Red card should leave the game immediately, and will also be suspended for one game the following weekend. A player receiving a Yellow card is required to sub out for a period of not less then 5 minutes (this includes goalies). Captains are responsible for enforcing these rules. Violations may result in a forfeit. If a team is already playing down a player and a player on that team receives a Red card, the opposing team need not remove a player. Red carded players can not be replaced.
