This is a recreational league. Emotional/Physical control and good sportsmanship are expected. All players are entitled to a minimum average of a half game playing time during the season.

Home team is listed first and supplies the game ball. Players should refrain from wearing shorts or socks the color of the opposing team's jersey. Players should wear the same number jersey each week.

Effective with the Fall 1999 season, standings are based on the following points, and will be used for seeding in the playoffs: Winner = 3 points; Tie = 1 point; Loss = 0 points Forfeits will be scored 1-0. Winning team receives 3 points in the standings. Tiebreakers are decided by; head to head results, goals against. For seasons with playoffs, games ending in a tie will be decided by two 5 minute sudden death overtime periods (Golden Goal). If game is still tied after overtime, then FIFA penalty kicks will be used to decide winner.

Effective with the Fall 2005 season, Ghost games (WBAS team and the Ghost team) will no
longer count goal differentials. The winning team will have the score recorded as 1-0, the losing team will be recorded as 0-1, and the results of tied games will be recorded as 1-1. Ghost games are official league games. Only registered league players can participate.

Game results should be sent to the league scorekeeper. Captains are also responsible to report any cards awarded to players on their team. Please report player name, #, and type of card. Captains who consistently fail to report game scores or cards awarded will forfeit points in the league standings. Warning will be issued first. Report of game scores and cards are due no later than the Monday following the weekend games.

Cancellations / Rainouts: Captains are responsible to contact players in the event of a rainout. There will be a recording with information regarding rainouts at 610-431-6506. The recording will be made after 12:00 on game days only. Decisions to cancel games will be made in consultation with WBYA, but may differ from the decision for youth games. Rainouts will also be posted on the website as soon as possible after it is determined to be a rainout.

Official games: If any part of a game is played, the game is official. If any game of the weekend is rained out and not made up, every other game played that weekend will not be counted in league standings.

No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the field or in the parking lot. Violations may result in the league loosing the use of the WBYA fields.

Teams are expected to provide a minimum of one individual to participate in field work days
scheduled prior to each season. Teams may also be expected to line the playing field once during each season. Consistent failure to participate in these activities will result in loss of points in the league standings after warnings.
